Author of "On the Form of the Letter of Complaint" (Quarterly Statement, vol. XXIII, 1909), the Society’s principal published statement of its method. Her five principles of correspondence — that the Letter is occasional, reasoned, courteous, precise, and final — are taught, informally and by example, to every new Fellow.
